Dr Bidhu is an Endocrinologist & consultant Physician. He completed his physician training followed by specialist Training at Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital , Adelaide. He has obtained fellowship in two specialities, Endocrinology and General Medicine. He has gained significant clinical training in weight loss management at Austin Hospital, Melbourne. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is a member of Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society and Endocrine Society of USA.
Currently appointed as Consultant Endocrinologist at Bendigo Hospital; he is also the Director of Bendigo Diabetes and Endocrine Centre. He is a senior lecturer at Monash University Medical School. He was a local examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) clinical examination.
He is an enthusiastic mentor for undergraduate and postgraduate medical trainees and has earned Derek Franklin Award for Excellence in clinical teaching in 2011, for school of Medicine, University of Adelaide.
